The One Healthconcept  is a worldwide strategy for expanding interdisciplinary collaborations and communications in all aspects of health care for humans and animals. The synergism achieved will advance health care for the 21st century and beyond by accelerating biomedical research discoveries, enhancing public health efficacy, expeditiously expanding the scientific knowledge base, and improving medical education and clinical care. When properly implemented, it will help protect and save untold millions of lives.

Immuno Valley has connected to the US ‘One Health Initiative’ as was highlighted by the Past President of the AVMA, Dr. R. Mahr, who addressed the kick-off meeting through a video message, with his support for the consortium and its objectives to connect animal and human health. The initiative is embedded in the AVMA and AMA and also the ASM has recognised its importance in order to achieve sustainable public health.
